
A 28-year-old man was lynched by a mob for allegedly committing un natural offense with a cow in a village in Matungulu, Machakos County.
The man was confronted at a residence in the area by a mob who stoned him to death claiming he was a curse in the village.
Police said they are investigating the incident. Committing unnatural acts to animals is a criminal offense as per Kenyan laws.
Police discourage cases of mob lynching and want suspects to be surrendered to them for processing.
The body was moved to a local mortuary.
Elsewhere in Isiolo, police are investigating the death of a 40-year-old woman whose body was found at the doorstep of a hotel.
The body of Mildred Mwende was found at the doorstep of the Prestige Hotel in the Juakall area.
Police who visited the scene said she had no marks on her body to suggest she struggled with her possible killers.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
