One person was struck to death by lightning in Narok.
Police said the incident happened in Booster area, Transmara West, Narok County on Friday afternoon.
Police said four people were coming from work when they were interrupted by rain.
The four shielded themselves under a tree.
It was then that a 45-year-old man identified as Samuel Kenyanya Obure was struck to death by lightning.
Three others sustained minor injuries.
Those who were injured were taken to Transmara West Sub-county hospital.
The deceased body was moved to St. Joseph mortuary awaiting autopsy.
Statistics indicate that at least 30 people are struck to death by lightning in Kenya while an estimated 24,000 people are killed by lightning strikes around the world each year.
