Mystery surrounds the murder of a man and his two minors in Ongata Rongai area, Kajiado County
Police said they were called and informed the body of one Amos Lagat, 31 was found about 50 meters from his house in Selengei area.
The body did not have visible injuries then, police said.
A tenant at the same plot had called a sister to Lagat and informed her he was dead under a booster that is near the house.
Police arrived at the scene and proceeded to the house where they found his two children aged seven and five dead.
The girl and boy were found dead on their bed and were half naked, police said.
It is believed the two were murdered in the bed.
The door to the house was open when the police arrived at about 5 pm on June 4.
The victims had died hours earlier.
Police say they have not established the motive of the murder.
The bodies were moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
The family of the man was informed and is cooperating with investigations, police said Tuesday.
Elsewhere in the Mabatini area, Mathare slums, Nairobi the body of Oscar Oluoch Omondi, 51 was found lying on a footpath.
Police said the deceased is a matatu driver and was heading home when he was stabbed by an unknown person in the chest on Sunday, June 4 night.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe into the attack.
No arrest has been made so far.
