Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen is set to officially open the newly completed Haile Selassie Exit Plaza on the Nairobi Expressway.
The inauguration event is scheduled to take place at the specified exit location.
In a statement released on Friday, Moja Expressway announced, “We are pleased to declare that the trial operation of the recently finished Nairobi Expressway Haile Selassie Exit Plaza will kick off on Saturday, January 20, 2024.”
The strategically designed exit, featuring a total of five lanes, is expected to provide motorists with a smoother and more efficient route to Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), Upper Hill, and Ngong Road.
