A suspect who was caught stealing a wifi antenna died after jumping off the third floor of a house in Njathaini, Kasarani area, Nairobi.
Police said the 36-year-old man was caught on the rooftop of Wonder’s Tabernacle Church while stealing a Wi-Fi antenna and ordered to surrender.
Instead, he jumped off from the three-story building and landed on his head.
He sustained serious injuries and bled to death in the Friday afternoon incident.
The body was taken to the City mortuary awaiting postmortem.
In Kambaa-Kianugu village, Kiambu, police said they are investigating an incident in which a body of a man was found in a river.
The body of Joseph Kariuki, 62 was found with a deep cut in the head and was last seen on June 2.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.
