Three people were Wednesday charged with obtaining over Sh64 million by deception.
Partick Ngare, Kelvin Mwaura and Muke Wa Mansoni are charged that on diverse dates between the April 2021 and April 14 2023 at Kilimani area in Nairobi within Nairobi City County, they obtained Sh64 million from Sadeghain Abolfazi.
They are also charged with obtaining money through false presence.

They pretended to be in a position to sell 60 kilos of gold to Sadegh Sadeghain Abolfaz, a fact they knew to be false.
They appeared before chief magistrate Lukas Onyina on Wednesday.
Their application for bail will be determined on Thursday, April 19.
This is the latest such incident involving fake gold dealers and unsuspecting buyers.
Officials warn unsuspecting buyers of the gold the country does not have such amount of product and want them to be careful.
Police have urged Embassies and High Commissions to advice their nationals coming in for business, Kenya does not hold any huge consignments of gold.
“The gold scam has now reached alarming levels as unsuspecting foreign nationals are being swindled large amounts of money by fraudsters,” said DCI Mohamed Amin.
According to the officers, Kenyans and foreign nationals must ensure that they conduct due diligence on the person(s) they intend to engage in the gold buying business.
Dozens of foreigners have in the past been arrested in Kenya and deported for being engaged in the fake gold deals.
Some of the Kenyans involved in the deals are also facing various charges.
