There was a tragedy in a Nairobi slum when three boys were killed in a fire incident.
The fire destroyed other houses near the scene, police and locals said.
This increased to six, the number of children so far killed in separate fire incidents in the city in the past three days.
Police said the boys aged 14, 12 and eight were sleeping in their house when the fire broke out on Monday morning.
According to police, the victims were burnt beyond recognition and that property of unknown value was destroyed.
Police said the cause of the fire is yet to be known.
He added experts had been sent to the area to help in the probe into the incident.
The charred remains of the boys were moved to the mortuary.
On Sunday, three other children were burnt to death in Kayole and California areas.
The probe into the incidents is ongoing.
Meanwhile, more than 100 structures were burnt down in a fire incident in Mukuru slums.
