A tragic incident occurred on the Narok-Bomet road, resulting in the untimely death of Deputy Base Commander Calvins Ochieng Onganda.
Reports indicate that Onganda’s car collided head-on with a lorry while he was driving from Bomet towards Narok.
According to a police statement, “As a result of the impact, both vehicles landed on the right side of the road as one faces Bomet direction.”
Regrettably, Onganda sustained severe injuries to his legs and chest, succumbing to them instantly.
The authorities have transported Onganda’s body to Longisa County Referral Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Additionally, both vehicles involved in the accident have been taken to Ololulunga Police Station for further investigation.
