
The spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat has revealed some of the weapons that Ukraine can shoot down.
In a war that has taken place for more than one year, Ukraine has received the backing of Western countries including the United Kingdom and the United States.
The country also enjoys the support of Israel, one of the countries with the most powerful weapons.
The countries have been essential in sending weapons to Ukraine in a bid to aid fight Russia, which has persisted in the fight.
Ignat listed the following Russian missiles that can be successfully be shoot down.
· “Caliber” (3M14) – sea missiles
· Kh-101 / Kh-555 / Kh-55 – surface-to-air missiles
· R-500 (9M728) – Iskander surface-to-air missiles
· X-59 – surface-to-surface guided missile
· X-35 – air, sea, or coastal defense missile
And here is a list of missiles that the air defense of Ukraine still cannot shoot down:
· 9M723 – Iskander missiles
· MLRS rockets, such as “Smerch”
· X-22 – a long-range missile to protect warships;
· R-800 – coastal missile “Onyx”
· X-47 – hypersonic missiles “Dagger”
· X-31P – anti-radar missile
· S-300 m anti-aircraft missile.
