Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a man at a railway bridge in Athi River area, Machakos county.
The body was discovered on Sunday evening in a pool of blood with deep cuts on the back and face.
Police said they also found a bunch of keys in his pockets.
It is suspected the man was hacked at the scene by unknown people.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe, police said.
In Meru’s, Mukorokia village police are looking for one Peter Muriuki over the death of his wife Jane Muthoni.
Locals said the man had a quarrel with Muthoni before he assaulted her leading to her death.
Police said they found the body of the woman with visible injuries on the left side of her head and bruises on the body.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending arrest of a known suspect.
The incident has been linked to domestic fights.
