A seven-year-old girl died in a fire incident in Korogocho slums, Nairobi.
The fire left many structures flattened and families homeless, police said.
Police said the fire broke out on February 14 at about 9 pm in the Gitathuro area.
The fire was contained by locals and a fire engine that rushed there.

It was then they found the body of the minor having been burnt to death.
The cause of the fire was not immediately established.
The body was moved to the morgue pending autopsy and other investigations.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
