He rejoined KPC three months ago as acting Managing Director.
He exited the board after he was forced to resign over graft allegations.
Boinett termed the previous tenure of Sang as a success adding that there were remarkable changes in the management and performance of the State Corporation.

According to her, that was the highest profit in the 50-year history of the company.
Sang rejoined KPC three months ago as Ag. Managing Director where Boinett commended him for a turnaround in the company operations that saw the groundbreaking enhancement of the pipeline flow rate from Mombasa to Nairobi of 1.3 million liters per hour from 950,000 liters per hour.
He is also credited for the improved flow rate to Western Kenya terminals at 636 thousand liters per hour from 550 liters in the last two months.
The efforts constituted the improvement of stock delivery to 37 percent pipeline efficiency.
“The KPC Board anticipates that Sang will continue to lead the organization to surpass its former stellar performance,” Boinett said.
Sang has previously worked with WHO-KEMRI as a Project Economist, Financial Accountant with the National Oil Corporation of Kenya (NOCK), and Head of Finance for EABL among others.
