An unknown number of thugs raided a store in Eldama Ravine township and stole 35 pieces of gas cylinders.
This is the latest such incident to happen in the area in a series that has happened in the past month alone where up to 50 cylinders have been stolen from petrol stations.
Police say they are yet to establish where the thieves take the cylinders and efforts to know the same is ongoing.
The gang raided the shop by cutting padlocks at the entrance on Wednesday night before carting away the valuables.
Police say the value of the cylinders is about Sh300,000 and efforts to trace them are ongoing.
No arrest has been made so far.
