A commuter train hit and killed a 34-year-old man who was crossing a railway line in Athi River, Machakos.
The locomotive was headed to the city center from Kitengela on Tuesday evening when it hit the man killing him on the spot.
The victim sustained deep cuts on the head and neck.
No identification documents were found on the man.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy.
Such accidents are common on railway lines in the city and its surroundings.
