Night Guard Killed In Fight Over Woman In Kisumu’s Dunga Area

Police in Kisumu County launched a manhunt for a suspect linked to the murder of a night guard following a violent altercation in the Dunga area.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. at a residential site adjacent to Kiboko Bay.

The victim, identified as Thomas Egilaiza, a 35-year-old man working as a night guard, was found lying on his back at the foot of a water tank.

Police have launched efforts to trace and apprehend him.

The body was moved to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem examination is expected to be conducted.
