Police are investigating an incident in which the body of a boy, 12 was found floating in a water dam in Tarbaj, Wajir.
The body of Issa Ahmed Abdi was found in Wareri dam near Tarbaj primary school days after he went missing.
It is believed he drowned as he played near the dam.
Police retrieved the body and handed it to the family for burial.
And a family is mourning after their seven-year-old son died after a fall from the first floor of a house in Kawangware, Nairobi.
The boy was playing on the floor with other children when he slid and fell off landing on his left hand.
Master Churchil Otieno was rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital where died while undergoing treatment, police said.
Doctors said he had sustained internal injuries which led to his death on July 14.
Police were called to the scene and processed it as part of the probe into the incident.
The body was moved to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem examination.
