The father of the teenager accused in the Georgia school shooting has been arrested and faces serious charges, including two counts of second-degree murder.
Colin Gray is also charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter and eight counts of cruelty to children, related to his alleged role in permitting his son to have a weapon.
The shooting, which took place at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia approximately 50 miles northeast of Atlanta resulted in the deaths of two teachers and two students.
Additionally, nine others were injured, including one teacher and eight students, all of whom are expected to recover fully.
Colt Gray, the 14-year-old suspect, surrendered to school resource officers during the incident, according to Barrow County police.
He is accused of carrying out the shootings with an assault-style rifle near his algebra classroom. Gray faces four counts of felony murder in connection with the tragic event.
