Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a man was found floating at the Nairobi River at Globe Cinema.
Police on patrol were tipped off about the body and found it at the Globe Cinema area on Saturday.
A team that went to retrieve the body said the man looked aged about 30.
The team was helped by the county fire brigade to retrieve the body, which had no physical injuries at that time.
The body seemed to have been dumped at the scene.
An investigation into the same is ongoing, police said adding an autopsy will tell what caused the death.
In the Califonia area, the body of a fetus was found lying on the banks of the Nairobi River.
Police said the body was dumped there and efforts to trace the mother are ongoing.
No arrest has been made so far.
The remains were moved to the mortuary pending further investigation.
