President William Ruto Monday met current and former Jubilee Party Members of Parliament at State House, Nairobi.
Some of the members present in the meeting are Ol Kalou MP David Kiaraho, Kanini Kega (EALA), Sabina Chege (Nominated), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop) and Dr. Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti).
Others are Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), Amos Mwago (Starehe), Daniel Karitho (Igembe Central), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West) and Lamu Senator Joseph Githuku.
The motive for the meeting was not immediately known.
Last week, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua met some of the MPs at his office in the city.
On Sunday, Tharaka Nithi governor Muthomi Njuki told Ruto to meet the leaders for a serious talk. The meeting came ahead of a planned rally by Azimio leaders at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi over new leakage over the August 2022 polls.
Jubilee is among the parties that make Azimio la Umoja coalition.
