Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing six new sexual abuse lawsuits, including one involving the alleged assault of a minor.
These lawsuits come just a month after Combs was criminally charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.
The music mogul has denied any wrongdoing in his previous civil cases and has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges against him.
His legal team stated, “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”
Filed in federal court in New York, the lawsuits include anonymous plaintiffs, one of whom, a male, claims Combs assaulted him as a minor.
This plaintiff, identified as John Doe, alleges that in 1998, during a party at Combs’ Hamptons mansion, the rapper ordered him to lower his pants and then touched him inappropriately.
The plaintiff was 16 years old at the time.
Combs was arrested in September on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
He pleaded not guilty on September 17, and a judge denied his bail request on October 10, setting a trial date for May 5, 2025.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents 120 individuals claiming abuse by Combs, filed the latest lawsuits.
Buzbee’s law firm has announced plans to file additional suits in the near future.
