Suspected Gang Leader Arrested In Kayole – Stolen Items Recovered

In Nairobi, the police have caught a suspected gang leader who has been causing trouble in the Kayole neighborhood of Embakasi Sub-County.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) issued a statement on Tuesday, saying that the suspect, known as Luis Otieno, also called Lui Borura Nyaoiri, is believed to be responsible for a series of thefts in the area.

Luis Otieno, who already has a case pending in court, was arrested because of a string of break-ins and robberies in Kayole Sub-County.

In these incidents, people lost valuable items worth a lot of money.

Lui was caught while driving a Mazda Demio car with fake license plates.

After his arrest, he showed the police officers where he lived.

When they searched his house, they found various items, including wristwatches, an antique gun frame hanging on the wall, mobile phones, tablets, flash drives, earphones, and ear pods.

The total value of these recovered items is unknown.

The DCI has stated that they are currently working on an operation to catch his partners in crime and bring them to justice.
